Each year, the U.S. Fire Administration has Arson Awareness Week during the first week of May. This year they focused on vehicle arsons. Motivations behind vehicle arson are mostly revenge, though other possibilities include concealing another crime, curiosity, excitement, insurance fraud/arson for profit and vandalism.
